A contract transloading customer needs to fulfill a contract for railcar unloading with the ability to relocate the equipment. That’s why they chose a US Systems Skidpot as their unloading system of choice.
In order to make their operation as flexible as possible we have our Skidpot installed on a trailer with a heated cab for compressed air service in any temperature conditions.
The Skidpot needs to run off of their customers’ 3-phase power, with the ability to run off of a diesel generator in the future.
US Systems designed, fabricated, and installed all of the necessary 3-phase power connections, including a 3-phase connection plug connected to a 100-foot power line stored in a US Systems fabricated housing on the tongue of the trailer.
US Systems has electrical engineers on staff to complete the control panel fabrication and wiring the trailer.
This was a really fun project for us to work on. We love seeing the ways our customers come up with for using their Skidpots!
