Easy to Install – Protects Valve – Valve Lasts Longer

The “Shear Point” is the point at which the rotary valve vanes cross the inlet. Material “shears” at this edge of the valve and wears it down.

A US Systems Shear Protector avoids valve wear by knocking material off the vane before it can shear against the valve wall edge. This protects the valve and helps it last longer.

A US Systems Shear Protector is placed just before the inlet shear point to protect the vanes and inlet edge.
